The "Boy" is back and arriving in Shellharbour on February 12th with a Gala Opening at the Roo Theatre. This iconic Australian musical tells the story of the flamboyant and highly talented Peter Allen.
He was the song writer of "I Still Call Australia Home" and "Rio", two of his best known songs, but what about his beautiful love ballads
"I Honestly Love You" or "Arthur's Theme".
Born in Tenterfield he taught himself to play the piano, then he was part of the
Allen Brothers, next it was New York, Paris, Las Vegas, London and an Oscar.
With over 30 songs, lavish costumes from the original professional production, a talented cast of dancers, singers and musicians led by Adam Fisher as Peter Allen,
Jenny Catterall as Judy Garland and Penny Dunn as Liza Minnelli.
