Several hours before 'Othello' opens at the local opera company, the 30 piece orchestra is in place, the chorus is warmed up, the shrimp is ready to be served, the only thing missing, is a lead TENOR! The quick witted opera manager asks his apprehensive, but highly talented assistant to perform, and all goes well until the real 'il' Stupendo' awakes from his drunken stupor. He then makes for the stage also clothed in full costume. Hence, both Othello's are absurdly mistaken by swooning lovers, resulting in a classic farce of mistaken identity, plot twists and side-splitting innuendos. Technical:
