Ever wanted to silence a radio star… for good? “Applehurst” is the nation’s favourite radio serial. Sister George is… was its most popular character. She’s caring and sweet and wise. June Buckridge plays Sister George. June’s not caring or sweet or wise. In fact, she’s a drunken, mean-spirited old diva. And she’s pulled one dirty stunt too many. June is an embarrassment to the BBC. Something has to be done. It’s time for the killing of Sister George. This wickedly funny play is farce and drama rolled into one.
Cast: June – Suzi Russell, Alice – Hayley Craddock, Mrs Mercy – Kim Griffin, Madame Xenia – Diana Brown Technical:
